Ninemire on James: “Lindsay has all the talent in the world to be an All-American this year, if her numbers and her play live up to her ability. She’s grown by leaps and bounds since she first stepped on this field, and I look for her to provide leadership in the outfield.”

2003: Named second team NFCA All-Pacific Region and honorable mention All-Pac-10 … was second on Cal in runs (36) and third in hits (59) and at-bats (206) … started 65 of 66 games she appeared in with a .286 batting average, and seven RBIs.
High School: Hit .620 as a senior at Sequoia HS and was named first team All-San Mateo County, All-Peninsula Athletic League and team MVP for three years … helped her ASA club team, the West Bay Nuggets, to third, fifth and 13th-place finishes at nationals … participated in volleyball and basketball her freshman and sophomore years.
Why I chose Cal: “I came to Cal because of the diverse environment and because of the hippies and the homeless people on Telegraph.”
